Jennifer Aniston Will Play Lead Role in Upcoming Film “Cake”

While we admired famous actress Jennifer Aniston for her outstanding performance as a hot mom in the latest film “We're The Millers” and as a hot villainous boss in “Horrible Bosses”, she will definitely be loved for her role of an unending pain sufferer preoccupied with a friend's suicide in upcoming Drama “Cake”. She has been announced to play the lead role in the film “Cake” that is actually based on the Black List script written by Patrick Tobin, while the movie will be directed by Daniel Barnz in the initial title of a 5-film co-sponsorship deal between After Dark Films and Shenghua Entertainment. Conquistador Entertainment has been announced to manage the global sales at Berlin.

According to the script, Aniston will play the role of a mordant woman who gradually finds herself enthralled by the suicide of another woman in her constant pain support group. She tries to finds out the details of her suicide and makes a relationship with her husband in the process. As she finds out the facts about the suicide, she also deals with her own individual misfortune sensibly well in spite of some complexity.

The co-sponsorship deal, working as Cinelou Films, requires 5 films production in the range of seven million dollars to ten million dollars within the one and half year. Courtney Solomon (who is known for “An American Haunting”) will carry out the production of the movies, which are announced to be dramatic, dark comedy and thriller films.

Cinelou works as a sales representative for WME Global, which will help the team in the the distribution of all the movies. Courtney and South China Media actually arranged the contract with help of a new production business enterprise between Courtney and Mark Canton.

Jennifer will also be the executive producer of the first movie along with Ben Barnz, Kristin Hahn (known for “The Departed”), Courtney, Madiraju and Canton. She has previously worked as executive producers for the projects including “Management”, “Becoming Icizzle”, “The Switch” and “Call Me Crazy: A Five Film”.

“The formation of Cinelou Films DHJ, and this new venture with Shenghua is a unique pact which allows us to give great projects a chance to be made for the right reasons without many of the usual limitations put on indie films,” Solomon said.
