One of the most prominent actresses, Sheila MacRae, has passed away at the age of 93. She was found dead at Lillian Booth Actor’s Home in Englewood, New Jersey. She was very versatile actress and was known for a number of movies, TV shows and stage dramas. She was mainly known for her role as Alice Kramden, spouse of bus driver Ralph Kramden (which was played by Jackie Gleason), in musical-comedy TV show “The Honeymooners” of 1960s, which was aired from 1966 to 1970 as part of “The Jackie Gleason Show” and was one of the most watched shows of that time.
The playful role of Alice Kramden was acted by a number of well-known actresses. Pert Kelton was the first actress to play this role in 1955, and then Audrey Meadows took this role from 1955 to 956. After that, Sue Ane Langdon took responsibility to play Alice Kramden prior to Sheila grabbed the character to play along with Jack.
Sheila worked in TV shows for quite a long time. She also appeared in a renowned episode of “I Love Lucy,” and “The Fashion Show”. She had her own TV shows in 1971 for a short time. She is also known for series “General Hospital”, in which she played the role of Madelyn Richmond in 1991. In addition, she was a series regular on the single-season “Parenthood” from 1990 to 1991; and appeared as guest on a number of TV shows such as “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.” (1964–1968), “The Love Boat” (1977–1987) and “Murder, She Wrote.”

She started her acting career with the 1950 females’ prison film “Caged”, in which she appeared opposite Eleanor Parker. After that, she appeared in a number of big projects including beach pictures “Bikini Beach” and “How to Stuff a Wild Bikini”. Besides acting, she also worked as producer for the film “The Perils of P.K.” in 1986. Her marriage was ended in 967, and her former husband Gordon had passed away in 1986.
