Mary-Louise Parker, famously known for TV show “Weeds”, has been announced to play a lead role in NBC’s upcoming TV series “Feed Me”. The "Weeds" star will come back to TV show and join up NBC entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt. Mary-Louise has officially signed a deal to appear in NBC's half-hour comedy pilot Feed Me, as per a number of media sources. The 49-year-old star, who has fielded a number of proposals this pilot season, was circling the character almost four weeks ago.
According to the plot details, Mary-Louise will play the lead role of a women named, Ellen, a somewhat OCD wife, mother of 2 children and accountant who has to deal with everyday routine issues as per her own ways and whose advancement in her personal life is a challenge for the beloved family members around her -- including her spouse, parents and siblings, most of whom run restaurant business.
Sally Robinson, who is known for Dirt, Lifetime's Steel Magnolias reboot, and Iron Jawed Angels, has written the script according to the original idea. She will also serve as executive producer together with Paul Witt and Tony Thomas, who are known for popular TV series like The Golden Girls, Empty Nest, Blossom, and Beauty and the Beast.
