Oscar Winner actress Kate Winslet leaves her recently born Baby Bear at home as she makes her initial post-baby public look to receive her “Walk Of Fame star” on Monday, after a low profile since giving birth to son in December 2013. Accepting Walk of Fame star is one of the best moments in a Hollywood actor's career.
She was dressed in plain black shift attire that attractively exposed her post-pregnancy curvatures. The 38-year-old actress and a proud mother of 3 kids took pleasure in her great moment in the presence of a huge crowd of fans. At one moment, she knelt down to come across her star, prior to excitedly making it visible to the crowd.
Kate was not accompanied by her family and her fiancé Ned Rocknroll was not with her for her big day, but she was not alone at all. While a number of her well-known friends showed up, she was introduced by her Divergent co-star Shailene Woodley, who greeted and congratulated her with a big heart. Winslet also got huge support from famous director James Cameron and her co-star Kathy Bates, who appeared alongside her in well-known films including Titanic and Revolutionary Road.
Her fiancé probably stayed at home in UK with their 3 months old baby bear. The proud parents maybe think that newly born son is a little too young for almost twelve hour journey. Her older children Mia and Joe were not present as well. She maybe keeps them away from media hype to make sure they have an ordinary upbringing.
Many fans gathered to take her autograph. 18 years since her career-boosting role in Titanic, and 1 Oscar winning and 3 beautiful children later, Kate is still an extremely busy and demanding actress in Hollywood. Her Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio did not show up, though.
Ana Martinez, who is producer of the Walk of Fame events, said: “We are so happy that Kate Winslet will be here on our famous Boulevard of dreams receiving her well-deserved star. We've seen Kate shine in her roles and fans around the world have been anxiously waiting for this special day to come.”
While her one of the best and most admired role couldn’t win her Academy Award, she continued to grab Oscar for her outstanding performance in 2008's love drama “The Reader”. She recently appeared on the critically commended film “Labor Day” opposite Josh Brolin, and now working for her next project “Divergent”, that is set to launch on March 21.
