‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ Prevailed at International Box Office with Enormous $75 Million

One of the much anticipated films of the YEar, Disney's MaRVel superhero sequel leads overseas box office with $75.2 million launch, taking first place in almost all international markets. It is set to launch in the U.S. on Friday AND is expected to turn out to be the year's best home debut, with above $80 million throughout the country.

The largest international markets were Korea with more than $11 million and the United Kingdom with nearly 10 million. According to the U.K. estimates — the initial film “Captain America: The First Avenger” was able to grab more than $14.5 million during its complete run in UK. Other big international markets are Mexico with more than $8 million, France with nearly $6.5 million, Italy with nearly $4 million and Germany with $3.8 million.

The original 2011 film succeeded to get more than $175 million in US and more than $190 million in international markets. It had made more than $65 million in its opening weekend. This happened before the launch of “Avengers” - the 2012’s best film with $1.5 billion worldwide success altered the game for all following Marvel’s superhero movies.

The sequel ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ starring Chris Evans, Frank Grillo, Sebastian Stan, Samuel L. JacksonScarlett Johansson is the 3rd mega-budget film to open after Marvel's "The Avengers” and “Thor: The Dark World". This superhero sequel evidently rode the drive given by the 2012 superhero smash hit “The Avengers”.

Shane Black’s “Iron Man 3” and Thor’s sequel “Thor: Dark World” turned out to be more like follow-ups to the “Avengers” rather than sequels to their originals. “Iron Man 3” almost grabbed overall $1.21 billion, which is almost twice more than the “Iron Man 2”. While the Thor sequel got $644 throughout the world, than $449 million of its original movie earned.

Chris Evans has come back as the red-white-and-blue war champion in $170 million budget sequel directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson are reprising their roles as Black Widow and Nick Fury, respectively.

According to the plot details, captain America (Steve Rogers) attempting to grip his role in what seems like more advanced future world, while fighting the Soviet war hero who is called as the Winter Soldier. It will be fascinating to see how better the film does in Russia, where it is going to launch on Thursday — mainly after seeing the current stand-off between the America and Russia over Crimea.

“Noah” Steals the Show at the Box Office with $15 Million Opening

“Noah” opens to meet all expectations and is on pace for $40 million weekend after a $15.2 million first-day FridaY.

Paramount and New Regency's mega budget film, which stars Russell Crowe as Noah, has been much criticized by the religious groups and even got banned in a numbER of countries. The “Requiem for a Dream” director Darren Aronofsky and studio were having some conflicts after Christian groups quetched that biblical film didn't follow Christian Holy Book appropriately, and studio issued an announcement at the start of the moVie mentioning that the it was a theatrical construal.

There were many rumors AND negative speculations that the film may not be able to do well at the box office amid immense criticism around the world and after it was banned in several countries. But, the film is already being considered a box office hit with huge opening and has topped all contemporary releases including “Divergent” and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “Sabotage”.

As anticipated, the biblical epic grabbed the attention of older crowd, with nearly 75% of the viewers above the age of 25, while the gender difference turned out to be 50-50. The critics have been encouraging (almost 77% on Rotten Tomatoes) on the story. The film got a poor "C" CinemaScore that is not shocking provided few unanticipated fantasy aspects of the film. Considering that unconstructive tittle-tattle is not quite effective this weekend, the biblical epic must finish with nearly $40 million for the 3-day frame.

Lionsgate's “Divergent” finished at 2nd spot with nearly $8 million, almost 50% fall from previous week's launch day. It is still in a market-high four thousands cinemas and on pace for a 2nd weekend in the $25 million range that would increase its home revenue to almost $95 million.

The weekend's other launch, action thriller “Sabotage” was unable to impress or entertain the audiences and turned out to be straight flop, with only $1.8 million Friday. It expects a 3-day overall business of nearly $6 million, which implies a 3rd huge failure for the action star Arnold since he came back to the Hollywood. The movie even cannot match the $9.2 million launch of “Escape Plan” starring Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and may not come close to the $6.5 million launch of “The Last Stand”.

Have you watched the “Noah” that stars Emma Watson and Jennifer Connolly? What you think of it?

Mel Gibson is Being Considered to Play Lead Role in Action Thriller “Blood Father”

According to a number of media reports, renowned actor and director Mel Gibson is being considered to play a lead role in an action thriller “Blood Father” directed by Jean-Francois Richet, who is well known for films like Mesrine: Killer Instinct, Mesrine: Public Enemy #1, and Assault on Precinct 13.

According to play details, Gibson will be playing a role of an ex-con and former Hells Angel. The film has been described as a Taken-style action thriller. The script will be written by Peter Craig and it will be based on his own novel. Craig is well known script writer as well as novelist. He worked on scripts of various big films including Ben Affleck’s “The Town”, drafts of Top Gun 2 and “Bad Boys 3”.

As per the script, Gibson will be playing an ex-con who joins up his alienated errant 16-YEar old daughter to keep her safe from drug lords who want to exterminate her. We can easily compare this film to the plot of the Renowned film “Taken” which stars Liam Neeson as the lead action hero who saVes her daughter from the criminals who abduct her. Although, story seems quite similar, but Gibson will surely appear with his unique style for this specific role, AND it would be still interesting to watch. We have watched Gibson before in such roles, but still, it must be an entertaining ride.

“Blood Father” has been projected to start filming in May in New Mexico. As the story of Craig’s novel goes: Lydia Carson runs away from her home, and at age of 17, she deals with a person who increases his profits with inexplicable acts. One day, she finds herself protecting a home in Topanga Canyon in the course of a shakedown. As fatal hostility goes off, she herself turns out to be a target. She runs away down a rivulet and from the hillsides to the coast–by herself, penniless, and scared. Her final preference is her father John Link who has just been released from jail.

Link saves his daughter, but after some days he becomes conscious that her condition is far more unsafe and complex than he considered. He has to adopt his past wild way of life to look after his daughter, reverting to life-threatening previous friends and places of escape.

Keep in mind that Gibson is in talks so far, he has not been confirmed to play the role. What are your views about this film and if Gibson plays the role?

‘Fantastic Four’ star Michael Chiklis Joins the Cast of 'American Horror Story'

The cast and makers of the FX's American Horror Story came back to the PaleyFest stage and presented sneak-peeks from "Coven" and footage of season 4, with another particular declaration that Michael Chiklis has been casted in season 4. He is coming back to FX 6 Years aftER TV show “The Shield” ended its run, and will play the role of a German ex-Pat running one of the final freak shows in the country.

According to seVeral reports, season 4 will be set in Jupiter, Fla., in 1950, starring Jessica Lange as Fiona Goode. Other cast members are Sarah Paulson as Lana Winters, Evan Peters as Kit Walker, Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau, Frances Conroy as Myrtle Snow AND Kathy Bates -- who were also seen on Friday's board. They will play performers that have been set free by Fiona Goode. Denis O'Hare and Emma Roberts will most likely also come back to the show that reboots itself each season with a totally different tale and plot, and frequently includes the same cast of previous seasons.

AHS team kept chuckling as they thought back about Coven and their New Orleans experience, but didn’t give away enough plot details. Chiklis will be playing the father of Kit Walker and ex-husband of Fiona Goode. Producer Ryan Murphy told that all the actors on the PaleyFest stage would appear in upcoming season.

"My heart was pounding like it is right now. It is a Freak Show, oh man!" Chiklis said after his casting was confirmed. Murphy further said that he had long pursued Chiklis to play a special role in American Horror Story and mentioned that there will be some other new cast members for Freak Show as well. The entire fourth season has been projected to be filmed in New Orleans and Florida.

Previously, Chiklis appeared in two TV shows, CBS' Action Crime drama “Vegas” and ABC's comedy drama “No Ordinary Family”, but unfortunately both shows had to be called off after only 1 season. His 7-season appearance in crime thriller “The Shield” was much admired by audience, and he got 2 Emmy nominations for best actor and won one for his outstanding performance. He also grabbed a Golden Globe award and was nominated for 3 times. When we talk about his film career, his biggest credit he is known for is his role as Ben Grimm in Marvel’s comic based film Fantastic Four.

So, what are your views about his casting in American Horror Story season 4?

Godzilla Footage Steals the Show at CinemaCon

Since the previous more than a decade, we have had to face the fact that the previous mega budget Godzilla movie, directed by Roland Emmerich in 1998, failed to meet the expectations of the fans, but this May, that streak will at last finish. Director Gareth Edwards, who suddenly started his career in Hollywood a few Years ago with the highly admired low budget sci-fi movie “Monsters”, is at last bringing the cinema’s iconic creature back. Everything we have watched regarding it until now has given us extreme optimisms for what he has made, togethER with the brand new footage that was presented at CinemaCon.

Film opens in plant with actress Juliette Binoche wearing a biohazard outfit to examine a breach, while the “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston examining some images AND finding out something is badly erroneous. He struggles to assist Binoche, but fails. He reaches a lobby which is swiftly filling with a poisonous gas, and with tears in his eyes he shuts the door so as to save his life as well as lives of rest of people – most probably letting Binoche die.

After watching thrilling scenes in trailer – including speech of Joe (Bryan Cranston) regarding the reality being concealed from the people, “Inception” star Ken Watanabe telling the egotism of humans, and different scenes of obliteration. The next relatively long sequence started on the beach where a damsel was looking at the sea. Surprisingly, the waves become gigantic and terror spreads around as alarms go on. Then we watch a gigantic tsunami in between skyscrapers, with citizens getting frightened, running over vehicles and bawling. When the city is completely drowned under water, a man on top of a building fires flare, and exactly at that moment we see the chest of the Godzilla.

From there the footage includes some scenes that we have already watched in trailer, including the airplane jump. But, Godzilla was still not shown clearly – just like in all of the marketing content until now – but the last scene did include the Godzilla roaring behind a smoke cloud.

The footage for Godzilla didn’t show any new thing as compared to other movies at CinemaCon, but it still is one of most anticipated films of the year. If it is able to successfully offer all the aspects that fans are expecting, it can turn out to be one of the highest grossing films ever.

The First Trailer of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Has Been Launched

Childhood superhero icons are being introduced in theaters for the first time. Right from the beginning, the mega-budget film based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was bogged down in disceptation. When it was declared that Michael Bay would be working as the producer, and most probablY these turtles would be aliens, the film production has been the topic of much controvERsy since then.

The debate is still going on with the launch of the first teaser trailer of the movie, directed by Jonathan Liebesman (who is known for Battle Los Angeles, Wrath of the Titans, AND The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning). The trailer shows initial look at the ninja turtles with Megan Fox starring as lead actress.

The trailer depicts that Ninja turtles are not aliens, but are genetically modified in a lab experiment, as the trailer opens with William Fichtner telling Fox that, "Heroes are not born. They are created. That’s what your father and I were trying to do. Create heroes."

What are your views about that change to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ folklore? The origin of the TMNT has been restated and changed over the years, all the way through a range of comic books and cartoon remakes. One thing they all have normally is mutagen, the extraordinary chemical stuff that mutated usual turtles in ninja turtles; therefore, they are called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The precise specifications and structure of the mutagen has changed over the years. From time to time it just either makes them larger, or it provides them superpowers. It has always been the means for the Turtles’ subsistence.

It seems that the whole story is filmed in New York City and the complete trailer also shows us more plot details on the crime that has infected the City. We see gun-hauling hooligans appearing from the sewers and bringing about turmoil in the city. Then we see two ninja turtles fighting with the criminals, and in the end, they happen to come across the Megan Fox on the roof of a building.

While Michael’s movies are frequently disparaged for their story aspects, excessive explosions in action and exaggerated comedy, the fact is that the director’s skill at staging outstanding action series is his greatest characteristic as a filmmaker. Maybe his experience on this specific subject of the movie could eventually make TMNT a more thrilling film, if nothing else.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film is projected to be released in cinemas on August 8 this year. Has the trailer impressed you?

Enjoy another Sneak-Peek into the “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”

We are only a couple of months away from watching the battle between humans and apes in “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”, the sequel to Rupert Wyatt’s amazingly much admired reboot “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”. It is the one which both sci-fi and action filmgoers are restlessly awaiting and it has become most anticipated film of the YEar.

So, what are they doing now to make the sequel to meet the enhanced expectations of the fans? They haVe released some new pictures from the set where the actors are monkeying around wearing their motion-capture outfits. Not precisely what fans would term as super marketing, but at least main actor Andy Serkis (who is playing Caesar) also exposed a few more plot details. Thanks to his moving motion-capture performance as Caesar, the first film succeeded to impress the audiences with its convincing storyline, providing the sort of pertinent epic entertainment that few anticipated.

According to the plot details, this sequel shows the era after ten years when a lethal virus has annihilated most of the earth’s inhabitants. In the meantime, Caesar along with his ilk have spent all these years preparing for the battle and increasing their own community, which has thrived on the fringes of San Francisco (even as the residents of that city have had particularly difficult time).

The unrecorded truce between remaining humans and the genetically modified apes has been spoiled. War is about to happen! So why is the leader of the apes – Caesar – being so welcoming with the characters played by “Zero Dark Thirty” star Jason Clarke and Keri Russell? Are they struggling to have another truce and make a deal? Is this sequel spoiled for the fans by now? Certainly not.

We can judge from the second picture that the apes has really resort to violence against humans and their intelligence has grown to such an extent that they can now use human made weapons including snipers and machine guns. Well, it that’s the case, then it is pretty convincing to see how the human population gets annihilated and apes become dominant.

Andy’s further details revolve around the back story instead of the actual storyline we will see, but it absolutely develops an isolated world that all fans are eager to watch, when the film turns cinemas into a battle zone on July 11. Perhaps by that time we will have chance to see another trailer.

Kyle Gallner Has Joined the Cast of Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper

Now, You really should brace yourselves for the upcoming war drama “AmERican Sniper” by one of the best directors of Hollywood, Clint Eastwood.

It seems that the casting process of the film is almost complete; howeVer, it is still under pre-production. Previously it was announced that the two times Oscar nominated star Bradley Cooper was confirmed to play the lead role in this film. Now, as per a number of media reports, Kyle Gallner has joined the cast of American Sniper, alongside Bradley Cooper.

Gallner is known for a number of horror as well as drama films including “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, “The Haunting in Connecticut”, “Jennifer's Body” AND “Red State”. Other actors who have joined the cast of the film are Sienna Miller (known for Stardust, Casanova, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra), Jake McDorman (known for “Live Free or Die Hard”), Luke Grimes (known for “Taken 2”) and Cory Hardrict (Known for Battle Los Angeles, Warm Bodies and Gran Torino).

Jason Hall has been announced to pen the script for the Warner Bros.’ war drama American Sniper. Bradley, besides playing the lead role, is also serving as the producer under his 22nd and Indiana label, together with Director Eastwood, Robert Lorenz (‘Million Dollar Baby’ and ‘Mystic River’), and Peter Morgan (known for Frost/Nixon, Rush, The Last King of Scotland, and The Queen). The independent entertainment company, Village Roadshow Pictures, will co-produce and co-finance the film along with Warner Bros., whose vice president development and production, Jon Berg, will supervise the whole production process for the studio. The film production has been projected to be kicked off next month in Morocco.

Bradley will appear as much admired Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who is recognized as one of the Best Snipers in American Military History and killed most terrorists with his snipers than anyone ever have. While Gallner’s role may seem quite strange to some people, as he will live up to the character of Winston, an Arkansas inhabitant who gets the nickname “Goat” when his initial kill in Iraq is a wayward goat. Plot details have not been provided.

The film has already become much anticipated and is being considered one of the best upcoming films. Bradley Cooper has also been tapped for upcoming film “American Blood”.

What are your views about American Sniper? Did you like the cast so far?

Russell Crowe Finally Breaks the Silence with Aggressive Remarks to ‘Noah’ Critics

It was expected after so much criticism over the biblical story adaptation.

Oscar winner star Russell Crowe, who is playing the lead role as ‘Noah’, probably seems angry over the critics and he doesn't look to be caring about their theories and statements.

"We've had probably over a year now of very harsh criticism from a bunch of people who have put their name and stamp on an opinion that's not even based on the movie or seeing the movie," He said, during an interview. "Just an assumption of what it could be or how bad it could be or how wrong it could be in their eyes, which I think quite frankly is bordering on absolute stupidity. Because now, I think, people are seeing the movie and they're realizing how respectful it is and how potent it is."

FortunatelY, none of the aforesaid denunciations came straight from the Vatican, where Russell previous month had a chance to get together with Pope Francis after a couple of unsuccessful efforts. His notion of the head of the Roman Catholic Church was nothing if not smoldERing.

Russell Crowe revealed that he is not a Catholic at all, AND that he has never experienced any association with any earlier Pope. He further said that he in fact liked the new pope who is altering the manner of the approach we look upon the Pope, and he considers it as extremely superb thing. Russell said that he was really privileged and honored to be in that location.

The Gladiator star went on to assert that this biblical epic will encourage constructive dialogues about significant matters related to our religions, our stewardship of the earth, our link with animals, and our spirituality. This film would make viewers think, who are we in this world? All such incredible topics need to be discussed. This film is an Art and such films can do magnificent thing for the humanity.

Russell didn't in fact get the opportunity to show the Pope his biblical movie and to know his response or view about it. However, the Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi had verified previous week that the appeal from the movie's producers for classified viewers was declined right away. He also told them that the Pope was not interested in watching the movie as he was unable to provide any public support.

So, what are your views about this film?

Rumor: Bradley Cooper is in Talks to Play Indiana Jones

These days, there are rumors circulating among media sources that the Disney, which lately got the rights to make more Indiana Jones movies, seemingly wants to give a James Bond touch to the lead character of the film. So, who would put on the cap after highly admired Harrison Ford? According to the rumors, the studio is considering Bradley Cooper for the lead role as Indiana Jones.

As per a number of media sources, Bradley is just one name on an extensive list of actors who are under consideration to play Indiana Jones, but Bradley tops all of them. It has also been reported that Frank Darabont, who is the well-known director of “The Green Mile” and “The Mist” (and also wrote a much better script for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal), has already come up with a brilliant concept for this film project. But, we are not sure that whether these claims or news are true or not.

It is also being reported that 71 year-old Harrison Ford may reprise his iconic character one last time in this most speculated and anticipating Indiana Jones film. Let us consider “The Hangover” star Bradley Cooper and Frank Darabont are teaming up to enliven the concept of Indiana Jones as an American James Bond. It would imply that the several talented actors could carry on this role for a number of years in the future. It really seems fairly awesome idea, isn’t it?

According to various film experts, Indiana Jones still has that prospects and this character doesn't need to get older with everY movie. It would be a great idea to reboot this franchise and continue forward with all new actors and the storyline. The huge fan base of Indiana Jones will love to watch the remake, if it is helmed appropriately by talented directors and script writER.

There haVe been a lot of discussions regarding the 5th installment of Indiana Jones franchise, AND the famous director Steven Spielberg had said in 2011 that he and George Lucas had already decided on the type of the 5th film. He, nevertheless, said, "I don't know where George is with the story. There is no 'Indy 5' until George says there is."

Again, this is still not conformed news, but you can speculate about this rumor and hope it to be true. But what if this turns out to be true? Then, it would be awesome news for fans. Who do you think should play the role of Indiana Jones?

After 10 Years of Marriage, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Made a Decision to Split Up

Famous film star Gwyneth Paltrow and English singer/songwriter Chris Martin are separating after 10 Years of happy marriage life. Paltrow publicized this news on her website, Goop, with a picture captioned "Conscious Uncoupling."

The joint announcement of the couple read, "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."

The 41-year-old Oscar winnER Paltrow AND 37-year-old Coldplay musician Chris have 2 kids named ‘Apple’ and ‘Moses’, and in their touching, a bit inexplicably entitled, announcement cited 'Conscious Uncoupling', they came clean that both had expended much time struggling to save their matrimony.

They further explained that they are, nevertheless, and always will be a family, and that they are more faithful than they have ever been. They said that they are parents primarily, to 2 extremely brilliant children and they demand their solitude to be esteemed at this hard time of their lives. Paltrow said that she and her husband have always carried out their matters confidentially, and they are optimistic as they intentionally disengage and coparent, they can go on in the same way.

Just previous year, the “Iron Man” star has praised his hubby enthusiastically while giving an interview to a magazine. When she was asked about the greatest decision of her life, she said, "to marry my husband". And about a couple of months ago, she revealed to another media source that she and her husband were going through some difficult times in their relationship.

"It's hard being married. You go through great times, you go through terrible times. We're the same as any couple", she said during an interview. She also revealed that she had sought advice from her late dad in this regard.

The famous duo had met in October 2002. They dated for almost a year and then married in December 2003 in a covert formal event at the Santa Barbara courthouse. It happened so fast and secretive that even the family members and friends were not invited. After few days, the beautiful actress had declared that she was expecting her first baby with him, Apple, who was born in 2004.

What do you feel about their separation?

Can ' X-Men: Days of Future Past' Live up to the Expectations of Fans?

As the new trailer of the film indicates, there are much risky aspects for upcoming installment of X-Men franchise. As duly histrionic as that looks as the main part of a time-travel motion picture, there is an explanation as well as criticism to such discourse, indicating the prospects of the X-Men franchise itself and the likelihood to re-visualize its prospects after this summer’s latest sequel.

We already have somewhat idea what comes after ‘Days of Future Past’, as the name and launch date of 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse has already been publicized several weeks ago, and producer Bryan Singer has told that it will be the sequel of the ‘First Class’ into the era of 1980s considering the flashback timeline.

But ahead of that, DOFP provides the X-Men franchise an opportunity to remake itself and get rid of the shackles (and continuity) of all earlier films, mainly the dissentious 2006 film X-Men: The Last Stand, which not only lacked the Bryan touch, but also reallY excluded the “modern” element of the franchise by putting an end to 3 of the main charactERs in a single incident.

In theory, if Wolverine’s undertaking does well in this May’s film, then he will have changed the prospects or upcoming eVents of the First Class cast in some way that will imply that the dystopian, machine-filled future that Magneto AND Professor Charles Xavier live in has stopped to be, or in any case has turned out to be significantly better.

The range of such variations relies on the audacity of the movie makers but brings in all ways of prospects that could be followed not least of which being the likelihood to remake fan-most wanted characters recast from their earlier emergence, with every character exempted from any imminent history presented in the initial 3 X-Men films.

If helmed suitably, it’s a win-win for filmmakers. They have a chance to reorganize the timeline in a best way, but without needing to enlighten fans that the previous films didn't “take place.”

That said, this idea can be balled up and cause problem. After all, completely changing the “future” of the X-Men does possibly nullify the films that certainly built a huge fan base, which runs the threat of disappointing the viewers who are most eager about the franchise.

Is the risk of pushing away X-Men admirers worldwide worth making an effective formation for a new superhero world with the possible jackpot of numerous franchises in a promotion? In few months, we will have an idea whether Fox has actually a 2nd opportunity when we talk about its superhero attributes.

Mark Wahlberg Says ‘Transformers Age of Extinction’ Will Be Best Film of the Year

On Monday, Paramount Pictures gave it’s a CinemaCon presentation at Colosseum at Caesar Palace of Las Vegas in order to make theater official realize that they had something big to deliver a best summer at the box office. The key individual Michael Bay was not present at Colosseum at Caesar Palace. He was probably busy in not only the post production of “Transformers: Age of Extinction”, but also in 2 other film projects — a reboot of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and the found-footage horror film “Project Almanac”.

Bay's nonappearance didn't bring about a bad impact on the Vegas-based CinemaCon presentation. Mark Wahlberg – the lead actor of upcoming Transformers – strode around the stage pompously to demonstrate an extended look at the expected runaway success.

“It is bigger and better than the other three combined,” Wahlberg said, continuing to expect that the movie will turn out to be the biggest hit of this YEaR.

The 20 minute preview was maybe the most extensive look yet at fourth installment of Transformers Franchise. Wahlberg plays a severely caring father and suffering because many bad things are happening to him due to a broken down truck. The reVelation that the truck is in fact a Transformer brings about a huge battle between Autobots AND Decepticons. From there, the battle extends worldwide, as humans fight with machines, typically to the loss of city schemers. In the sneak peak, we also have a short glimpse of Optimus Prime riding a Dinobot that has turned out to be a fan favorite, and will make its first cinematic look in this sequel.

Besides setting up the video recording, Wahlberg shared some special private moments with the audience, as his ten year old daughter came with him to the stage. He revealed that the last time he visited Las Vegas almost ten years ago to demonstrate footage of one of his most admired films “The Italian Job”. He told that he and his pregnant wife were expecting his daughter at that time.

“This is her first time in Vegas and hopefully her last,” he jested.

Paramount brought out and showed other influential celebrities like David Cross and Will Arnett for inspection and admiration of new footage from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” in a playful hour and half long show. The turtle movie, which is intended to grab teenage audience, revolves around a grittier version of four turtles who clean up city from crimes with help of April O'Neil (Megan Fox).

CGI and Body Doubles of Walker will bring him back in Fast & Furious 7

The film shooting is set to recommence on James Wan’s Fast & Furious 7 which needed to be reorganized after the sudden death of the co-star, Paul Walker. We all are aware that there have been rewrites on the continuation along with that Walker’s role, Brian O’Conner, will remain a superstar of the movie. However, currently we are starting to hear the news on what the ingenious team of the Fast & Furious series will do to take the place of the Walker in the upcoming part.

The production of the film has already been started and there have been changes in the scripts after Walker’s death. Previously, it was reported that Walker’s character will be shown as dead in the rest of them film. But now we are getting the news that the creative team of Fast and Furious Franchise may bring in a replacement for the part of Walker.

A number of media sources has reported how the production team has planned to progress with the project. A source says:

"They have hired four actors with bodies very similar to Paul’s physique and they will be used for movement and as a base. Paul’s face and voice will be used on top using CGI."

There are many rumors that that Paul’s own brother might be used as substitute for the late actor. It seems that Universal studio, Wan and the producers have decided to do so in an attempt to complete the project in most effective way.

It is not a latest approach. This method has currently been used by the creators of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay”, after the sudden death of Philip Seymour Hoffman who was playing one of the lead characters. CGI technology has become so much advanced today that it can be used to come up with such visual tricks. Is it the most effective choice? Definitely not. But mega budget film projects have to go for complex imaginative options to defend their investments following misfortune. A number of media reports are hinting that Fast fans will acknowledge the solution if it can revive Walker’s character.

Paul’s co-star and best friend, Vin Diesel, meanwhile paid yet another tribute to him on Facebook by sharing a picture with the enigmatic caption "The Two Pauls", and fans have been asking Vin about the other Paul guy beside Walker.

What are your views about such a new tactic to fill the gap left by the sudden demise of the late actor?

Neil Burger’s “Divergent” Might Not Open with Projected $60 Million

Lionsgate’s “Divergent” directed by Neil Burger, who is best known for the film “The Illusionist”, seems to be releasing at the lower end of some estimates, with initial proceeds showing the teen-oriented sci-fi film may not reach current expectations of a $60 million-plus home launch.

According to other calculations, “Divergent” would take around $23 million at nearly four thousand cinemas on Friday — counting $5 million from late shows Thursday — and finish with almost fifty million dollars by the closing stages of the weekend.

This still indicates that the sci-fi adventure will take over the weekend box office, as forecasted, in the midst of huge support from the desired targeted fan-base of juvenile males and females, though it’s quite difficult to forecast how well it is grabbing the attention of other types of audiences. Reviews have been nothing special with around forty percent recent rating on the Rotten Tomatoes aggregation site.

The expected national launch for this film is the 2nd best of this year, dropping behind only comedy animated film “The Lego Movie”. Shailene Woodley (known for The Descendants), the lead actress of the film, has been very lively in promotional campaigns.

Friday estimates also demonstrated a considerable tumble for Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted,” finishing with $20 million, which is $5 less than previous weekend. Investors put the shares of Lionsgate reserve on the market, as it took a tumble of almost 8%, falling to $2.35 and finished with $27.60, which is considered the lowest finish since July previous year. It’s worth dropped by 25% since November and Lionsgate officials have been trying to modify Wall Street’s forecasts for “Divergent” in upcoming weeks.

James Bobin’s “Muppets Most Wanted” starring Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Tina Fey is also expected to fall well short of the launch weekend of 2011′s “The Muppets” that had earned almost $30 million over its first weekend. The 3rd weekend of comedy animation film “Mr. Peabody and Sherman” seemed probable to top all other films with nearly $3 million, boosting the overall profit around $80 million worldwide.

The Harold Cronk’s faith-based movie “God’s Not Dead” did decently on its opening day with $2.7 million on Friday at around eight hundred theaters.

Christian Bale to Play “Steve Jobs”? He is first Choice of David Fincher to play Apple’s Former CEO

“The Dark Knight” star Christian Bale is David Fincher's foremost preference to play Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs in an under consideration film that Aaron Sorkin has penned for Sony and will be produced by Scott Rudin and Mark Gordon, according to some reliable media reports. Sorkin had won an Oscar award for writing Fincher’s Facebook drama “The Social Network”. However, not any single official has agreed to comment about this project.

Fincher currently has a meeting with Sony's Amy Pascal to talk about the prospect of directing the motion picture, and informed her, in no vague terms, that he would only agree to helm the project if Bale is selected to play Steve Jobs.

Fincher and Pascal had a stressed association throughout the production of “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”, but Pascal have confidence in him as a director — and often tends to keep him pleased, as per some insiders. It seems that Pascal has developed a friendly rapport with Bale, after a constructive experience on recently Oscar nominated film “American Hustle”, which also earned Bale an Oscar nomination for the lead character.

While Steve Jobs’ character is way different from Batman, Bale has been regarded as a key actor to play the revolutionist IT hero since the film was initially declared owing to his physical similarity with Jobs.

Surprisingly, Bale has not been officially offered to play the role so far, because he is enjoying a short break from the work to live with his family after completing the role of Moses in Ridley Scott's Biblical film “Exodus”, which is projected to be released next year and will probably bring Bale back in the Oscar discussion.

The movie is likely to come with 3 long scenes about Apple's key product releases, including the Mac, NeXT (after Steve had left the company) and the iPod. Filming may star prior to the end of the year, or in early 2015, as both Bale and Fincher appears to be quite full of activity this fall campaigning for their films, “Exodus” and “Gone Girl”, respectively.

Despite the fact that the film “Jobs” starring Ashton Kutcher as Apple’s CEO, made just thirty-five million dollars globally, Sony deems that there is substantial curiosity throughout the world in a Steve Jobs film created by and bearing A-list talent.

Bale, who will shortly appear in Terrence Malick’s film “Knight of Cups”, has no solid regards to films in development. The infamously choosy actor grabbed an Academy Award under the category of supporting role in “The Fighter”.

Thor star Chris Hemsworth Becomes the Dad of Twin Baby Boys

Elsa Pataky, the wife of Avengers star Chris Hemsworth and best known for Fast and Furious Franchise, has given birth to two beautiful twin baby boys, a representative of Hemsworth told a number of media sources. The 37-years-old actress and her brawny husband welcomed the twins together on Friday, but the names of the babies have not been told so far.

A couple of months back, it was reported that the 30-year-old Thor star and his charming wife were expecting twins. Elsa was seen with her aroused belly at Academy Awards as well as some other events during her pregnancy, proving she was simply one of the most gorgeous pregnant women ever. The joyful couple has welcomed their 2nd and 3rd child simultaneously, as they are already parents to a beautiful almost 2-year-old daughter India Rose.

Whether she was posing on the red carpet with her hubby at the 86th Oscar Awards ceremony, taking pleasure in a informal lunch date in Malibu or even painting her belly with none other than the representation of a life restorer, Elsa and Chris kept on to make our jaws drop with their attractiveness as the stunning mama came near to her delivery date.

“The Cabin in the Woods” star Hemsworth currently talked freely and openly regarding his beautiful family and being a father to Parade magazine, and it's obvious that the brilliant thesp is primarily a family man.

"I think [parenthood] brings out the child in all of us. That's what's so beautiful. It reminds you of the fascination you had with things, and how you can spend hours just being with someone," He praised enthusiastically, further saying, "It's amazing."

He also told about his friends and revealed how his friends and family perceive him as a dad?

"Hopefully a good one!" the blonde macho-man jested. "My wife thinks I am. I love it. It's the greatest thing I've ever been a part of. When I am at work, she's [India Rose's] what I'm thinking about, and when I'm not at work, she's who I'm hanging out with!"

Chris Hemsworth recently appeared in Ron Howard’s highly admired film “Rush” as a professional formula 1 racer James Hunt. He is currently working in Ron Howard’s next project “Heart of the Sea”, and not to mention his highly anticipated Avengers’ sequel “Avengers: Age of Ultron”He had begun dating with Elsa in early 2010 and tied the knot in the same year.

Andy Serkis Will Helm the Warner Bros.’ Project “The Jungle Book”

This may come as quite a surprise to many people that Andy Serkis, who is best known for his outstanding performance as “Gollum” in ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Hobbit’ franchise, has been announced to make a debutante effort as a director of live-action adaptation of Disney’s classic animated film “The Jungle Book”. He took over the job from Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, who was initially announced to direct the film, but turned it down owing to some scheduling conflicts. Many rumors are circulating that he may also act in the film, but it has not been confirmed so far.

The “Rush” director Ron Howard was also in talks with Warner Bros.’ studio to direct the film, but they couldn't come to the terms so he turned down as well. Warner Bros.’ has to match wits with another live action adaptation film with the same title that is already going through the casting process. In this another Disney’s project, Idris Elba has been casted as a voice actor for the deadly tiger Shera Khan and the film will be directed by Jon Favreau, who is best known for Elf and Iron Man.

Providing Serkis a great responsibility of helming the project is out-of-the-box approach by the studio, yet not implausible. Although it’s a directorial debut of Serkis, but he has a convincing talent, as he worked as a 2nd unit director in The Hobbit films, the 3rd of which is projected to launch in December. Some of the scenes required the making of detailed and lively action series. For instance, Serkis directed the broadly admired barrel-chase progression in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

Peter Jackson conferred a trust upon Serkis with this responsibility after Serkis grew a grasp of CG technology in the course of his acting skills not only in LOTR, but also in King Kong, The Adventures of Tintin and the Planet of the Apes franchise. Serkis is now the key man to helm the project. His live-action character is expected to come with much CG and motion capture.

We all know Jungle Book story that is written by Rudyard Kipling and revolves around a jungle boy Mowgli, who is raised by the animals including a Bear named Baloo, and Black Panther named Bagheera. His life is endangered by a brutal tiger Shere Khan, who has extreme desire to eat him. Callie Kloves has been announced to pen the script.

George R.R. Martin Hints About Making a "Game Of Thrones" Film

Fans are recently anxiously waiting for season 4 that is set to launch in few weeks, but the creative minds behind HBO blockbuster TV show "Game Of Thrones" are already planning how things are going to finish. Certainly, the show writers are already considering bringing show to an end gradually after 7th or 8th season... or will they? Currently, this is HBO's prime a continuing source of profit so maybe it's not a shocker that the network is already discussing possibilities for one mega-budget motion picture to really cap it all off.

Author George R.R. Martin disclosed that a film is already under consideration, although it's still quite premature in the game. "It all depends on how long the main series runs," he explained. "Do we run for seven years? Do we run for eight? Do we run for 10? The books get bigger and bigger (in scope). It might need a feature to tie things up, something with a feature budget, like $100 million for two hours. Those dragons get real big, you know."

To further enhance the anticipation, Martin told that he is already going through some source material in, "Tales Of Dunk And Egg” and it would in fact serve as more of a prequel. It further consists of three novels named "The Hedge Knight," "The Sworn Sword" and "The Mystery Knight."

For those who are not aware of them, these short stories (each nearly hundred pages long) begin almost 100 years prior to the stories of Game of Thrones and portray the life of Aegon V Targaryen and the hedge knight Ser Duncan the Tall (referred in a Season 1 by Old Nan), and their enduring companionship that starts at a tourney at Ashford. Ser Duncan goes into a tournament to commence his career as a knight. But he is not much familiar with world of knights and nobles, and he struggles to search a supporter who will enable him to compete in the tournament. Martin revealed that he has ideas to come up with anything from 9 to 12 of these stories.

Certainly, whether or not this turns out or how it turns out is still several years off, but HBO making films based on TV shows is nothing new, so this seems right. "Game Of Thrones" could truly take advantage of a Hollywood film.

The Sequel of Disney Animated film 'The Incredibles' Has Been Officially Announced

After ten years since the first film was launched, Brad Bird has spoken about whether or not there would be a sequel for superhero animation film "Incredibles" many times, and he has been very honest about it. The issue was always with creating a most satisfying script that was worth telling the story with those greatly admired characters. It would be quite simple to produce a number of films in a routine or monotonous way where we just expend time with Bob, Helen, Dash, Violet, and the extremely weird Jack, a family of undercover superheroes, while struggling to live normal uptown life, are compelled to use their super powers in order to save the world.

After immense success of comedy animation "The Iron Giant" and "Family Dog", Brad Bird rose to fame from “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol”. He is known for various other classical animation films including “Ratatouille”. He has great talent of telling great comedy animation stories. He intends to create things that make people say ‘wow’.

Bird has developed a huge fan base in short time and his films have also found a wide range of audiences. He has the potential to come up with film content the way he needs and the way audience admires. He is currently working on Mystery Sci-Fi "Tomorrowland" which has already become very highly anticipated film. Besides, he is also directing a crime drama “1906.

He had said several times that the reason he couldn’t work on the sequel of The Incredibles is that he didn't have the right idea for it. But, now it has been confirmed that "The Incredibles 2" is really happening. It means Bird at last got a real story to tell, and this is great news. According to various rumors in media circles, Pixar may continue this project without Bird's involvement. But, I think that’s not going to happen.

Hopefully, soon we will have more details about the sequel, and we certainly can’t wait to see what Bird has to present this year or maybe next year. Are you excited to watch the sequel of “The Incredibles”? What is your favorite Brad Bird?

Sofia Coppola Will Direct the Live-Action Adaptation of “The Little Mermaid”

The trend of creating live-action versions of famous animated movies goes on. Sofia Coppola, the director of “Lost in Translation”, is reportedly in talks with Universal Pictures studio to helm one of the greatest Disney animated films “The Little Mermaid”, a live-action version of the Hans Christian Anderson fairy fiction that won Academy Award in 1989. A script has been under consideration for quite a long time, and Caroline Thompson, who is known as regular Tim Burton coworker and wrote the script of Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Addams Family and Corpse Bride, has been announced to come up with a perfect edited script of the film, as per a number of media reports.

According to media sources, Universal Pictures has pre-planned all the processes to get this film completed and released as fast as possible. Sofia is a well-known director and has made a number of inspiring films, which are all intended for adults. You may be thinking that lest she directs the film with adults’ point of view rather than children’s. Well, you don’t need to worry, as she is a mother and many media reports infer that she is at the point where she needs to create something that her own children enjoy watching.

While Disney possesses the rights to Little Bird animation film and all the things related to it, the Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale is unquestionably in the unrestricted and available to anyone. Therefore, the studios excluding Disney can create their own live-action adaptations of derived from fictions we so commonly and incorrectly keep in mind as theirs. Pinocchio, and “Beauty and the Beast” are the prime examples in this regard. We all know “The Little Mermaid” since it was released in 1989 by Disney, but the fact is that this story has been around since the 1830s.

This year and the next year will see several back to back live-action adaptations of Disney’s animated stories. The casting process of “The Jungle Book” has already been completed and production is going to start soon. Alice in Wonderland sequel has been announced and will be directed by James Bobin. Joe Wright’s “Pan” and Kenneth Branagh’s “Cinderella” are already under production. Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie has been completed and is going to be released soon.

Now, it’ll be really cool to see how Sofia helms the classic story of a mermaid.

Newcomer, Levi Miller, To Play the Title Role of Peter Pan in Warner Bros.’ film “Pan”

After an extensive search to find an actor between ages 10-12 who can play the role of Peter Pan in upcoming film “Pan”, Warner Bros.’ has finally found a perfect person for its lead role. Levi Miller, a novice young boy, has been selected to play the title role. He has joined a big cast of the film that includes Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard, Garrett Hedlund as Captain Hook, and Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily, along with Joe Wright, who is going to direct the film.

Jason Fuchs, who is known for comedy animation film Ice Age: Continental Drift, has been announced to write the script, while Greg Berlanti, Paul Webster and Sarah Schechter are going to serve as the producers.

Evidently intending to look for some comparatively unfamiliar young actor for the main role, Joe has chosen Miller, whose quite short work history regarding acting includes just a few shorts and one episode of short-lived sci-fi TV show “Terra Nova”. If he proves to be a great choice for the main title role, this film can turn out to be a big breakthrough of his acting career.

Joe was searching a new talent who can live up to the role of Pan, going through a wide casting process and various auditions in the U.K. and also receiving open calls. After all the process, he considered Miller who could fit all the aspects related to Pan.

Set during World War II, Pan is a new take on J.M. Barrie’s classic fiction, and revolves around Peter, a juvenile orphan who is abducted by pirates and carried to a mysterious world called Neverland, where he finds out he is actually chosen to assist the inhabitants and save the land from notorious pirate Blackbeard.

But, in this latest version of the story, according to some film plot details, Blackbeard turns out to be Peter’s great nemesis in the end. However, it has not been confirmed yet. It maybe some rumor. The story is being shaped worldwide — and with a very unusual title lead hero as compared to past versions.

The film has been projected to release on July 17, 2015, that has been decided after Warner Bros. changed the release date of the Man Of Steel sequel.

So, what are your views about “Pan” cast members? Do you think Levi Miller is a great choice?
